How much does it cost to be listed?

Nothing - the only "cost" is receive our free eNewsletter. Every individual adviser can be listed, but each must receive their own copy of the eNewsletter, or pay £10 pa NOT to get our relevant and useful Newsletter.

If you work in two or more different areas, you can be listed under different postcodes for just £10 per postcode per year. 

WARNING: 

if you misrepresent yourself on the site, you will be reported to the Regulatory Authorities.

How to make the site work better for you:  

Use your free line of text (check with compliance if need be - but they are unlikely to object to "Friendly local IFA" or "IFA for 200 years." If you work from home, make sure you use your home postcode even if you use your office address and use the free line to say that you live and work locally, though your office is elsewhere.
Set up a link from your site to www.FindaPro.co.uk  - this might sound strange, but it will raise the search engine profile of both sites.  You can link back to any category of adviser we list in the format:

On the same basis, it is important to input the web address of YOUR site but 

you can only do this if your site contains a link to www.FindaPro.co.uk. We will also be adding other professionals in time, so watch this space and you might get some brownie points with clients and prospects.

FREE ENTRIES Standard entries, including one line of text, are FREE provided you join the appropriate email Newsletter/s. You can list yourself in a second location for £10 pa. Contact me.

Once you have added your entry online, a confirmation email will be sent to you. You must click on the link in this to activate your entry.

A user name and password (which you can change) will be sent out to you (WRITE THEM DOWN under FindaPro), so you can amend your entry. PLEASE do NOT ask me to do this for you - this is a free service, please respect my time. See below for trouble shooting.

Once you have joined www.FindaPro.co.uk  your will receive your Newsletter with the prefix "FAP" in the sender position. If you are a member already, you can then use the unsubscribe link at the foot of every Newsletter (these do not appear on the adverts - you need to wait for the newsletter to arrive) or you will keep getting both versions of the Newsletter - FAP and the standard one. Remember to unsubscribe from the NON FAP Newsletter, so you don't delete your FindaPro entry!

If you unsubscribe from the FAP Newsletter, your eNewsletter bounces, or you do not reply to our occasional queries, your entry will be suspended on the next check cycle and you will need to sign up again.

If you change email address, you need to use the MODIFY A LISTING facility to change it in the database: not only will the Newsletter be going astray, so will any email enquiries!

You email address is NOT displayed on the site to avoid spam harvesters collecting it, but clicking on the EMAIL under your entry will enable visitors to email you.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your entry does not appear, have you clicked the confirmatory email?

Have you accidentally subscribed to the wrong category, or miss-typed your postcode or email address?  If so, you will have to re-subscribe with a different email address.

Want to add a different category, subsequently?  You can only (at present) add an extra category by using a different email address.  Make sure it regularly used - you don't want to miss any enquiries!

Duplicate entry? Go in with your password and delete everything before someone complains!

Want an additional entry in a different area? These are just £10 a year, contact steve @ findapro.co.uk . Do it without paying and all your entries will be deleted (or worse!!)
